Carla was inspired to join the field of veterinary medicine after witnessing the exceptional compassion and care given to her family cat, Romeo. While in Veterinary Technician Program at Macomb Community College, Carla interned here at Veterinary General and later started working while finishing her education. Carla graduated from the program, earned her degree and became a Licensed Veterinary Technician in 2016. Of her career choice, Carla says “I wanted to be able to help both animals and people. I love that my job lets me do both!”
In her free time, Carla enjoys going up north and staying at her family cottage. When not up north, you can find her enjoying time with her husband, Marcus, and their son, Dino. She also enjoys spending time with her Labrador Retriever, Duke, and her tortoiseshell cat, Skittles.
