Electro-acupuncture uses an electrical impulse to stimulate nerve endings beyond just acupressure points to help decrease pain, increase muscle strength, or both. Needles are placed like a regular acupuncture appointment, but electrode wires are attached to some of the acupuncture needles. Frequencies are then manipulated on the electro-stimulation unit to enhance the dry needle acupuncture results.
