Our In house pre-anesthetic laboratory testing will alert us to any issues that need to be addressed before the procedure. While we provide general anesthesia your pet's airway will be protected with a breathing tube and your pets vital signs will be assessed by our staff constantly and your pet will also be monitored with an EKG, provided with heat support and IV fluid therapy and pain medication pre- and post surgery if needed.
Our surgical unit has two over head surgical lights to illuminate the surgical site for better visualization of the surgical site. The stainless steel surgical table will allow us to better clean and disinfect the table in between patients. The table also has a hydraulic lift to better adjust the height of the patient to the surgeon (as each patient's size is unique), thus further insuring your pet gets the best care possible. Our patients recover in one of our four recovery areas including separate dog and cat recovery areas.
